>>> Our Organizations <<<
Acolytes - Many of the young people of our church serve as accolytes, assisting with communion, reading scriptures, lighting candles, and leading processionals.
Altar Guild - Each worship service requires different settings of the altar vestments, books and utensils. The members of the Altar Guild are responsible for seeing that the altar is appropriately set for each service and for returning all those settings to their appropriate storage areas.
Choir - Our senior choir leads us each week during the celebration of the Sunday service and provides and inspirational anthem at mid service following the sermon.
Needle Little Comfort Quilters - These talented ladies (and the men who help with setup) spend many hours creating their beautiful quilts of varied designs. Each year these quilts are then donated to a charity whose need seems most critical for that year.
Priscilla Guild - The Priscilla Guild is the heart and soul of Zion. When a social event takes place, the Priscilla Guild is quietly at work behind the scenes making sure that every aspect of it goes off without a hitch.
Sunday School - Zion's Sunday School offers classes for ages 3-4 in Nursery and extends through 8th grade. Classes are held on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.  Our program centers on God's love for His children, and is Christ centered and family oriented.  To enroll your child, please call the church office for more information.
  Ushers & Tellers - The ushers are responsible for seeing that the facilities are appropriately set up and that all the requirements for the proper observance of each worship service are met. The tellers are in charge of counting and recording the offerings received at each service.
