    My favorite Doubletree whenever I'm here inChi'town..Great staff..Excellent breakfast buffet & the restaurant & bar will definitely put you where you need tobe.

      I went tothe hotel toenjoy swimming and relaxing for the weekend. Ifirst noticed that there was norefrigerator and nocoffee service inthe room(I just expected that ina socalled 4star hotel). Ifound that the heat inthe room was not working and cold air blowing through the window. Icalled downstairs and they quickly sent anengineer tofix the broken heater however air still coming through the window. Then Iwalked over tothe swimming area and found the door locked. This isalsowhere the whirlpool was located. Iagain called down tothe front desk and was told the pool and whirlpool was not working. The next morning Igot upto goenjoy the16.99breakfast but Iturned around and just headset somewhere else when Ifound that the Holiday Inn serves amuch better breakfast buffet for free. What adisappointment. Shame onHilton shame onthem referring tothis place asa four star hotel.– show

        O hotel fica numa área excelente, com umbom Shopping aolado, churrascaria Fogo deChão bem próxima.. evárias lojas nas proximidades. Bom café damanhã

          I always enjoyed mystay atDoubletree. Weused tohost Eve ofEve event atthis Hotel. Our guests always enjoyed their rooms and amenities. The staff, front desk, Cafe folks are always nice. One thing every year I've attended NYE event only two elevators are running. Iwondering why not all three are being used?

              ROOMS ARE STANDARD YOU CAN TELL ITS OLD AND NEEDS UPDATING UPON ARRIVAL TUB WAS DIRTY ICALLED THE FRONT DESK FROM MYPHONE & ROOMS NOANSWER THE HALLWAY WALLPAPER ISCOMING UPVERY NOTICABLE WATER INROOM CAME OUT YELLOW I'LL UPDATE ATTHE END OFMY STAY THE POOL AREA WAS CLOSED DISAPPOINTING LAST OFMY REVIEW I'VE FINALLY CHECKED OUT THEY ONLY HAD 2ELEVATORS WERE WORKING HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED CAUSE PLACE WAS OVER BOOKED AND SHOULD HAVE HAD ALL 3BWORKING ELEVATORS

                THE STAFF WAS EXCEPTIONAL!!! That said, the place isgoing downhill. There are stairs rusting through inthe parking deck. The room had paint peeling off the ceiling inthe bathroom and arusted out vent that was painted over and rust stained. The toilet was rocking onthe base and had amountain ofsealant aroundit. Italmost looks like someone cheaped out onwater damage repair. The mattresses are god-awful. The pillows have zero support. The carpet looks gray inthe standard walking paths around the room like itis full ofroad salt and hasn't been cleaned ina long time, very gross. The gap under the door isconcerning. Itlet ina LOT oflight atnight time and it's big enough toslide anadult hand with asmartphone.

                Be careful about the breakfast, they tell you it's inthe lobby when you check inbut then it's actually $16.99. Quality ofthe food isnot great. Iget that it's ahotel but for the quality the price isa little egregious when for the same price you can goto Bob Evans, iHop, Denny's etc for less and have far better food.

                Only one of3elevators worked.

                Location isexcellent. 3—5min drive toeverything.

                  My family and Istayed here for awedding inthe area. The front desk receptionist was not helpful. They gave methe hardest time, and itseriously put abad taste inmy mouth. The only staff member who was helpful was Jose. Hewas attentive and was able toassist myconcerns. The rooms are too outdated. The bathrooms needs amajor upgrade. The prices ofthe rooms were great, but now Iknowwhy.

                    The first room Iwas given was absolutely filthy and indisrepair, DONOT stay atthis hotel. The front desk did give mea new room atmy request but Istill felt like the hotel isnot well maintained.

                        Great location, small bathrooms with alow toilet for children and not quite suitable for adults. Also dated showers/tubs. However quiet location with easy access toOakbrook Mall.

                                This hotel was very underwhelming. The lobby and first floor ofthis Hilton looked nice, but assoon asyou get toyour room, you notice cost cutting and areas they avoid upgrading. Lots ofareas had chipped orpeeling paint and the TVappeared tobe about 15— 20yearsold. The acconstantly fluctuated tocold and hot without meadjusting itwhich became very uncomfortable. While Iwas there they removed the microwave from the ice/vending area (on all floors) soif you need touse amicrowave you need totravel down tothe lobby. I’m aHilton honors member and itdisappoints meto say Iwill avoid Double Trees moving forward.– show

                                  Was abit disappointed hotel abit outdated heard they had updated rooms. Iguess Ididn’t receive one was there for my33rd anniversary was close tothe restaurant that weattended maybe the new style isfor the toilet tobe almost tothe floor, at6’1itwas abitlow. Try calling front Desk toask ifyou questions could never get ahold ofthem orhousekeeping not sure your phone worked inroom. However, the breakfast was great. Parking was adequate bed was comfortable.

                                      Went toconvention there. Did not stay ina room. Short staff, service and stock. Escalator and elevator were turned off except elevator torooms.

                                        Absolutely terrible hotel. I'm not abig fan ofleaving bad reviews but people need toknow how bad this hotelis. Everything was broken and dirty. One ofthree elevators kind ofworked, the escalators didn't work. The hallways smelled like asewer backup because itlikely was asyou would beankle deep inwater bythe time you'd finish ashower. There was never anyone tobe found atthe front desk. The air conditioning didn't work and the entire hotel had tobe near 90°. Iwouldn't stay atthishotel again ifit was free.– show

                                          Biggest disappointment was the pool and hottub....which were drained and had been for quite some time. Iwould assume maintenance issues would becommunicated tocorporate sothe official hotel website would specifically state itwas closed. Webooked ahotel with pool for my2children, sothey were disappointed.
